Die gleichnamige Compilation zum Festival Parookaville 2017 weiß auch mit ihrer Tracklist zu überzeugen und glänzt nicht nur mit einem Mega Namen. Mit dem Parookaville Festival, hat Deutschland eine echte Konkurrenz zum Mega Festival Tomorrowland in Belgien bekommen und das in nur wenigen Jahren.
Auch in diesem Jahr wurde das Festival wieder ein Stück größer und so feierten 80.000 Menschen auf dem Mega Festival. Ähnlich wie beim Tomorrowland Festival, ist das Parookaville weit mehr als nur ein Festivals, denn es wird zu einer ganzen Stadt inkl. dem größten Penny Markt in Deutschland und das auf einem Festival.
In diesem Jahr sorgten Showtek für einen ganz besonderen Moment auf dem Parookaville Festival, der in den sozialen Netzerwerken so Mega Hit wurde. Sie erinnerten an ihren verstorbenen Freund, dem Sänger der Band Linkin Park, der sich kurz zuvor erhängt hatte.
